Shahzad Ali is a PhD student in Data Science and Computation at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Italy, and a visiting researcher at the LILI Lab, University of Sussex. His research focuses on AI and graph learning methods for neurodegenerative diseases, using structured medical data to model disease mechanisms and progression. His work combines machine learning, large-scale healthcare datasets, and predictive modelling, with an emphasis on clinically relevant applications.
